We check your site once per minute (1-minute monitoring).

We perform an HTTP or HTTPS connectivity check and record the result along with response timing. For HTTPS sites, we also capture SSL certificate details such as issuer and expiration date.

You receive alerts by email when your site goes down or comes back up. If SSL expiration alerts are enabled, we will email you before your certificate expires.

Yes. For HTTPS sites we track SSL certificate expiration and can send proactive email alerts before certificates expire.

Public sites can be read through the public API. This is optional and controlled by you per site. If you do not mark a site as public, it will not appear in the public API.

Yes. Site Informant offers a public JSON API that lets developers and AI integrations access uptime, response time, and SSL expiration data for any site you’ve marked as public.

You can use the API to:
  • Feed real-time status into dashboards, chatbots, or AI agents.
  • Build custom uptime widgets and analytics.
  • Trigger workflows in your own systems based on site status.
